JA Central Ontario Volunteer Microsite & Video
JA Central Ontario relies on volunteer support but their website did not have an efficient function in providing information to potential volunteers. AN Design Communications recommended creating a microsite with a featured video to focus on recruiting and retaining new volunteers.
JA Central Ontario aims to support youth in thriving within the global economy.
Storyboarding the video was an effortless process with JA Central Ontario. The video should exhibit JA’s passionate volunteers, explain how volunteers benefited from being affiliated with JA and communicate how potential volunteers can join. The AN Design team met every demand and the final video was commended for its professional look.
The intention for the microsite was for volunteers to access all information regarding the application process. In addition, volunteers should see the available roles while getting an idea of what JA Central Ontario is all about.
The featured video has been displayed on the homepage hero banner since January 2024. Users are to watch the video to gain more insight on the volunteer's personal experiences with JA Central Ontario.
The microsite conveys JA Central Ontario’s strong branding presence while informing potential volunteers on how they would be able to be a part of the community. As of September 2024, JA Central Ontario reached their target of working with 1400 volunteers and have continued to receive positive reviews of the site.
