BYAs Website Rebrand & Restructure

Brand and Visual Identity
Summary

The previous BYAs website called for a refresh as it lacked functionality and warmth. BYAs sought out help to redesign the website so nominees and nominators can submit applications directly on the site rather than submit via email with PDF attachments.

Homepage
the process and concepts

Instead of a dark, sophisticated colour palette, the website was altered to have a bright, inviting feel with an air of celebration. The website came together once white space, minimal colour and the use of grids came into play.

The ladies at BYAs were immediately willing to move forward with the first concept. Collaboration was extremely easy as BYAs knew what they wanted and were able to provide all types of aid throughout the process. They knew that the timeline to launch the site was tight so they provided clear instruction and fast approval.

Results

The rebranded website is brighter, welcoming and has a distinct function which helps expedite the nomination application process. Users are now able to nominate others and if nominated, can complete their application on the website instead of submitting a PDF via email.

Mobile, iMac, vertical tablet website view & application layout

BYAs expressed gratitude for making the nomination process painless and quick. All nominee information was exported from the site and AN Design created a layout design for an easier application review process. BYAs did not need to manually extract all information from submitted PDFs as all the application information was organized for them.
